In 1996, Ellen Lutz began a career in real estate because she loved Boulder County so much that she wanted to help others find a home here as well. This passion fueled her to win the prestigious "Rising Star" award at Century 21 Real Estate in her very first year.
In the two decades since her start, Ellen has helped hundreds of families, individuals, empty nesters, and investors find and sell their diamond in the Rocky Mountain rough. RE/MAX Alliance and the Boulder community have recognized her contribution and outstanding achievement in real estate by ranking her #18 in the RE/MAX Rocky Mountain States Region, awarding her membership in the RE/MAX "Platinum Club," "Hall of Fame," and "100% Club," as well as the "5280 Magazine 5 Star Realtor Award." She served as a Director on the Boulder Area Realtor Association from 2005-2008.
Her education includes: Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate Realtor Institute, and Accredited Buyer's Representative. Because of her extensive education, Ellen offers her wide range of clients not only extensive experience but also top-level insight about the market and her community.
When she isn't assisting home buyers or sellers, Ellen donates her time and talent to making Boulder County a great place to live. Ellen adopted the Davidson Mesa Open Space and Enclave Park and has been awarded City of Louisville's "Most Volunteer Hours" three years running. She volunteers time at charity pancake breakfasts and community festivals. Watch for her float in the Louisville Christmas Parade or her husband dressed as the Easter Bunny for local kids during her Easter Egg Hunts.
Ellen has lived in Boulder County since 1991 with her husband of over 33 years and two adult children. She was raised in Arizona and worked for the Department of Defense in Germany prior to moving to Colorado. She enjoys hiking, playing pickle ball, riding bicycles, and exploring the world.
